Nthabiseng Makhaba is an Environmental Health and Safety Officer with a deep commitment to advancing mental health, social change, and sustainable development. By profession, she safeguards workplace health and safety, by nature,
she is a humanitarian and storyteller driven by empathy, compassion, and impact.

Her humanitarian journey began at a young age as Lesotho Girl Guide’s Girl Guide and active member of the Lesotho Red Cross Society, experiences that nurtured her passion for service and inspired her to co-found Leaders of Change Initiatives on Community Development (LCICD). Through this NGO, she works to protect and promote the health and well-being of communities while amplifying voices for positive transformation.

Nthabiseng’s advocacy is deeply rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular focus on:
